Eliza Fisher's mother was Martha nee Adkisson Fisher. She died in 1852 in Fayette, Tennessee. At this time it is unknown where Martha is buried. We suspect she may have been buried in Wayland Springs, Lawrence, Tennessee where she was born, or it could also have been in Fayette, Tennessee where she was living at the time of her death.

Her father was was William Edward Fisher. He moved his family to Arkansas in Nov 1860. Eliza was the youngest of William and Martha's 6 living children. They had at least one other child who died as an infant. Eliza had 8 half siblings when William married his 3rd wife Harriet Agours.

Eliza was first married to Thomas W. "Paton" Burrows Sept. 5, 1869 in White, Arkansas and they had one child. She then married H. H. Wagster Jan. 28, 1880, in White County, Arkansas. Her third and final marriage was to William Franklin Massey April 19, 1886 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Eliza and Frank had 2 children, a son William B. and a daughter Letta/Letha.
