MRS. PERRY BARGER DIES MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Perry (Ida M.) Barger were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Fielding Funeral Home with Dr. Merrill D. Summerbell conducting. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.

Ida Mae Almack, daughter of Harvey and Arena Butler Almack was born in Newbern July 4, 1882.

On May 30, 1900 she married Perry Barger of Chariton and since that time has made her home in Chariton.

She was a long time member of the Methodist Church and a member of the Lucas County Historical Society and associate member of the Des Moines Sunset Study Club.

Mrs. Barger was preceded in death by her parents , three brothers, three sisters, her husband and an infant son. She leaves to mourn her passing six children: Greta, Mrs. H. C. Winder of Des Moines, Marie, Mrs. L. H. Carleton of Chariton, Glen W. Barger Sr., of Pharr, Tex., Dorothy, Mrs. M. M. McMichael of Des Moines, Lloyd D. Barger Sr., of Minneapolis, Minn., Keith B. Barger of Chariton; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edna G. Cook of Des Moines.
