Was Son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Staples of Near Pratt
...Jerrold Staples, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Staples Jr. who live two and one-half miles southeast of Pratt, died at the home about 6:30 last evening. He had been ill for the past two years.
...Funeral services will be held at Rosser Morturay chapel tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. B.F. Henry, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Interment will be at Greenlawn.
...Jerrold was in the sixth grade two years ago when he was forced to quit school because of his health. Besides his parents he leaves five brothers and one sister: Charles 19; Dorsey, 17; Helen, 15; Frank, 10; Henry, 8; and Jack, 5.
