SERVICES HELD FOR ELMER WILHITE

Funeral services for Elmer Wilhite, 67, who died Saturday in Grady Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church, Minco, with Rev. Jimmy Floyd, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Wilhite was born June 16, 1903 in Ellis County. He moved to the Minco community 15 years ago. He was a retired postal employee.
Pallbearers were Gene Koonce, Ricky Carrell, Robert Halverson, Tommy Ridge, Jerry Nix and Jerry Willis.
Survivors include his wife, Iva May of the home; a son Marvin, of Orange Park, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Aline Lower, of Arkansas City, Kansas; three brothers, Arthur of Miami, New Mexico, Jim of Houston, Texas, and Walter of Magnolia, Arkansas; four sisters, Mrs. Ruthene Milford of Goddard, Kansas, Mrs. Juanita Durrenburger of Richards, Texas, Mrs. Edith Dollar of Noblesville, Ind., and Mrs. Jeannie Martin of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Interment was in evergreen Cemetery under direction of the Reynolds Funeral Home
