Mrs. Simril, 80, well known LaGrange resident who died Monday night at City County Hospital, following a fall at her home about two weeks ago, was held Wednesday in the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial chapel of the First Baptist church. The Rev. Montague Cook pastor officiated assisted by the Rev. John A. Wilson pastor of the First Presbyterian church.

Mrs. Simril was a life long resident of Troup county and a member of the First Baptist church. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Rubye Kramer LaGrange, a son Richard Simril LaGrange, three grandchildren, Mrs. Leon Smith, Jacksonville, Fla., Richard and Lewis Simril, Atlanta, four great grandchildren Sue Anne and Simril Eskridge, LaGrange Donie and Sandra Simril, Atlanta, and a brother, Houston, Little Rock, Ark.
