Chloe B. Roebke, 63, of Route 1, Wellsville, Mo., died August 22, 1993, at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Mo. She was born Feb. 11, 1930, at Delano, Calif., the daughter of William Albert and Susie Josephine Cain Vaughn. She was married in Wichita, Kan., on August 7, 1955, to Richard Conrad Roebke. They lived in the St. Charles, Mo., area before moving to rural Wellsville approximately six years ago.
Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Richard Alan Roebke and wife, Pamela, of O'Fallon, Mo.; her mother, Josie Vaughn of Huntsville; two sisters, Gladys Baker and husband Bernard of Huntsville, and Leona Ledbetter and husband Jerry of Wichita, Kan.; and one granddaughter, Kara Roebke.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City. The Rev. Greg Maize officiating and interment was in the Montgomery City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
