William Albert Vaughn, 84, Route 4, Huntsville, died Wednesday, Dec. 26 in the Madison County Hospital. Born Sept. 11, 1889 in Huntsville, the son of Ben and Dora Officer Vaughn, he was a Baptist.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josephine Cain Vaughn of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Baker, of Marble, Mrs. Leona Ledbetter of Wichita, Kan. and Mrs. Chloe Roebke of St. Charles, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Ruth McMinn of Huntsville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The minister was Rev. Cecil Garrison.
Pallbearers were Charles, Russell, Glenn, and Robert Vaughn; Lee Howard; and Bill Holt.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel with burial in Alabam cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
