KILLED WHILE COASTING

Dan Black, 11 years old, son of Charles Black, of East Bernstadt, is dead, the victim of an accident in coasting. The sled struck a stump.

*this is the newspaper date - perhaps he was reported deceased instead of injured. He did initally survive the accident, but passed away from internal injuries and general peronitis.
