Source; Notes written by Olive Kaune, Grand mother to Mary (Harrell) Enos, handed down to her cousin Marilyn Pederson
Becky was a short heavy set woman, Aunt Molly Hawkins told this to Olive Kaunes, she was very strong and could carry three buckets of water from the stream at one time, on in each hand and one on her head, it was Rebecca that John Armstrong her father went to live with before he died, she also was the one who inherited the Old Bureau that belonged to her mother Polly (Dudley) Armstrong, and it was Rebecca that took care of Mary Gates, when her mother died, and when Dru Jett Ross was left an orphan, she cared for her too. Rebecca married William B. Ross who was the first son of Thomas Ross and his first wife, and Thomas Ross, Father to William B. Ross, married Rebecca's sister Sally Armstrong, The Ross's had a Old Grist Mill, which was quite a historical place called "Ross Ford"
The Ross's were a very religious family singing and saying a prayer before each meal, William or as he was fondly known as "Uncle Billy", would say this prayer, "Father we Thank thee for all our blessing, which come to us from Time to Time"
