Sally Anna was a splendid girl and was loved by everyone who knew her, she and Thomas were married in Maury County Tennessee, and she became the step-mother to Thomas's two children by his first wife, namely; William Brethot Ross and Sarah Maria (Ross) Compton (Mrs. James Compton) they came to Montgomery County in 1829, where her husband Thomas built a Grist Mill called "Ross's Ford"
