Philip J. Augustine was born July 24, 1923, at Collyer, Kansas, the son of Ignatz and Anna Augustine. He died December 27, 2001.
Mr. Augustine was a salesman, retiring in 1988. He had owned and operated Phil Augustine Furniture in Salina for many years. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dan, in 1997. Survivors included a daughter, Linda Nielsen; three brothers, Clarence, Lawrence and LeRoy; four sisters, Frances Pfannenstil, Ann Erbert, Julia Werth and Gladys Reiff; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
