Ted moved to Salina in 1955 from Decatur, Illinois. He operated Ted Augustine Furniture west of Salina for many years.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and a former member of the USD 307 school board. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include his wife, Almita; two sons, Dale and Mark; a daughter, Donna Augustine; his mother, Anna Augustine; four brothers, Phil, Clarence, Lawrence and LeRoy; four sisters, Frances Botero, Anna Erbert, Julia Werth and Gladys Odette; and three grandchildren.
