Vide, 79, of Simmesport died at 9:25 a.m. Friday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Irma G. Vide of Simmesport; four daughters, Dianna Mayeux and Violet Bordelon, both of Simmesport, and Florence Gregoire and Daisy Gagnard, both of New Orleans; two sons, Oswald Vead and Shefford Vead, both of New Orleans; three sisters, Lucile Miller of New Orleans and Verna Mayeux and Elphia Couvillion, both of Simmesport; one brothers, Henry Vead of Simmesport; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the church hall until time of services.
