Services for Lonis Lee Vide will be at 2 p.m. today in Christ the King Catholic Church with the Rev. Harvey Fortier officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Escude's, Mansura.

Vide, 79, of Simmesport died at 9:25 a.m. Friday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Irma G. Vide of Simmesport; four daughters, Dianna Mayeux and Violet Bordelon, both of Simmesport, and Florence Gregoire and Daisy Gagnard, both of New Orleans; two sons, Oswald Vead and Shefford Vead, both of New Orleans; three sisters, Lucile Miller of New Orleans and Verna Mayeux and Elphia Couvillion, both of Simmesport; one brothers, Henry Vead of Simmesport; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the church hall until time of services.
