Mrs. Odelia Lachney, 79, of Plaucheville died Saturday in Avoyelles Nursing Home in Dupont.

Survivors include her husband, Adolph Lachney of Plaucheville; five sons, Clifton Lachney of Congress, Ga., Roumin Lachney of Baton Rouge, Hamilton Lachney of Plaucheville, Wade Lachney of Kileen, Tex., and Victor Lachney of Moreauville; three daughters, Mrs. Constance Lemoine of Pineville, Mrs. Agnes Mayeaux of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Emily Guillory of Plaucheville; four brothers, William Veade of Boston, Simon Veade, Louis Veade and Henry Veade, all of Simmesport; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Miller of New Orleans, Mrs. Olanzo Couvillion and Mrs. Horace Mayeaux both of Simmesport, 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m. today in the Catholic church here. Entombment was in Plaucheville Mausoleum under direction of Rush.
