Charles C. "Chuck" Crose, 61, of 116 South 3rd Street, died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday in Home Hospital where he was admitted an hour earlier after apparently suffering a heart attack. He had been in failing health two years. Mr. Crose was born at Stockwell and moved to Lafayette at the age of 18. He was employed several years by the Nickel Plate Railroad as an engineer before retiring 10 years ago because of his health. Until recently he worked four years at Purdue Airport. Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Grace Crose of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Walker and Mrs. Dorothy Hampton, both of Lafayette; and four brothers, Chester Crose of Mulberry and Steve, Don and O. W. "Bud" Crose, all of Lafayette
