Mary Grace (Crose) Walker, 87, of Lafayette, died at 11:47 PM Sunday, October 13, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Central. She was born February 17, 1926, in Stockwell, to the late Clifford A. and Grace L. (Ryan) Crose.
On November 3, 1944 she married Henry Edward Walker in Lafayette, he died in 1979. Mary had worked at O'Rears bakery for eleven years before becoming an Avon representative for twenty five years.
Surviving are two daughters Donna Marie Harris of White Lake, MI, Janice Kay Casto (Steve) of Lafayette; a son Dennis Lee Walker (companion Toni Christoff) of Valparaiso; a sister Dorothy M Cowen of Lafayette; eight special grandchildren Kristin, Brian and Sean Harris, Carla Timm, April Blair, Justin Ashby, Brittaney and Tabitha Casto and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel; entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
