Stewartsville and the community was saddened last week by the death of Mrs. Anna Blaylock, 48, wife of Edwin Galbreath, Jr., who succumbed at 10:55 o'clock Thursday night following an illness of the past four and a half months. The deceased was the daughter of Alvin and Elizabeth Blaylock. She was born July 19, 1889 in Stewartsville where her entire life was spent. A member of the Methodist church there, having united with the church at an early age, she remained ever faithful to its teachings. Her sunny disposition, the animation of her face and manner and her friendliness were outstanding charactersistics which endeared her to all who knew her. She was united in marrige to Edwin Galbreath, of Griffin, March 24, 1934. Surviving are the husband, one sister, Mrs. Lillian Morrow, of Detroit, and two brothers, Louis and Fred Blaylock, of Stewartsville. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Stewartsville Methodist church and were in charge of the Rev. R.J. Skelton of Patoka, and former Stewartsville church pastor. Burial was in the Stewartsville cemetery.
