RITES HELD FOR WILLIS CLICK, TEXAS, FRIDAY
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Minco for Willis E. Click who passed away at a hospital in his home town of Paris, Texas p.m. Tuesday, October 16th.
Mr. Click was a former resident of Minco, was born in Minco and was a student in the Minco schools. He played on the first Minco High School football team.
Rev. H.M. Lewis, local pastor of the Methodist church officiated at the services.
Pallbearers were: Phillip Froneberger, Claude Slover, Estel Davis, Ulman Davis, Frank Wall, John Unruh, Leo Rice, John Barber. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery of Minco under the direction of the Quayle Funeral Home, Minco.
Obituary- Willis Edward Click, son of Mrs. A.G. Click and the late A.G. Click, was born in Minco, Dec. 27, 1904, and passed away in Paris, Texas, Oct. 16, 1945 at the age of forty years, nine months and 19 days.
He leaves his wife, Jewell Click, three children, Kenneth Wayne, Donald Jene, and Mary Jane; his mother, five sisters and five brothers.
Pallbearers were; A. Bourassa, Elmer Pinkston, Jerry Thomas, Claude Slover, Tom Fisher and William Mackey.
