Mrs. Richard Parr, 80, of 211½ 2nd Ave. S., died Sunday morning in her home. She had been in failing health for many years. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Snell-Smith funeral home. Dr. Harrison G. Dawes, paster of the First Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Amelia Klahn was born Nov. 24, 1884, in Wheatland, the daughter of Andrew and Emma Bentrott Klahn. She attended Wheatland public schools. She was married to Richard Parr on March 4, 1908 in Wheatland. The couple moved to Clinton in 1923. She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors. She was baptized in the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
