Harry (Bud) Higgins, 75, was found dead at his home on Rockdale Road near Conococheague. It was reported that he had been treated in recent months for a heart condition.

He was born in Blair's Valley, the son of the late Martin Luther and Mary Jane (Clopper) Higgins. He was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of the Clear Spring disrict and a member of the Blair's Valley Church of God.

Surviving are sons, Willard W., Lou and Lester E., all of Clear Spring; Harry, Jr. and Frederick W. both of Hagerstown; daughters, Mrs. David Cafaro, Baltimore; Mrs. Norris Belt, Hagerstown; Mrs. Kenneth LeMaster, Greencastle; sister, Mrs. Edith Higgins; brothers, William, Houston, Pa.; Jacob, Williamsport; and Joseph, Halfway. Twenty five grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Blair's Valley Church of God, with the Rev. Robert Easterday and the Rev. John Myers officiating. Interment in the Blair's Valley Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Clark Funeral Home, Clear Spring after 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.

The family will meet at the home of Mrs. Norris Belt, Hagerstown, Rt. 2, at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
