---Mrs. Rhoda Ellen Easley, sixty-seven, died June 1 at Macon, Missouri.
---Funeral services were June 3 at the McCollum Funeral Home with burial in the Chariton Grove Cemetery. Rev. Claude Thompson officiated.
---Born February 19, 1888, she was the daughter of Levi Mahew and Margaret Ellen Gunnels.
---On June 2, 1909 she was married to James M. Easley who preceded her in death in April, 1953. To this marriage four children were born, James Jr. of LaCrosse, Roy Olin of Kirksville, Sanford Leo of Hematite, Missouri and one daughter, Zula McVay of LaCrosse.
---Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three brothers, James M. Gunnels of LaCrosse, Harrison Gunnels of Elmer and Jess Gunnels of LaCrosse; two sisters, Susan Easley of Mason City, Iowa and Minnie Scott of Kirkwood; one half-sister, Mrs. Lizzie Bealman of LaCrosse and a number of nieces and nephews. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
---She was a member of the Chariton Grove Baptist Church.
