After his father's death his mother remarried Frank Casey. His half siblings were Eleanor Mary Casey Frisch and twin Nelson Casey; Robert Casey; Joseph Casey and Frank E. Casey. He was the husband of Marion Dougherty and their daughter was Marion A. Dougherty. He was a World War I veteran and worked at Barfield Mills in Philadelphia as a machinest. He is deeply missed.
