Reta Sorenson Hicks
Reta Sorenson Hicks, age 77, passed away March 2, 2008 in Provo, Utah.
She was born Feb 18, 1931 in Vineyard, Utah to Joseph Hans Otto and Stella Hebertson Sorenson.
She married Earl Nile Hicks on Feb 8, 1951 in Columbus, Georgia. Reta was a wife, mother, grandmother, "Grannie" and loved by all who knew her.
Survived by her husband, daughter, Kris Ann (Dan) Jepperson, Payson, UT; her son, Kayle Earl (Kelly) Hicks, Green River, WY; 6 grandchildren, Jayson (Kari) Pederson, Jesse Pederson, Riley Jepperson, Skeeter Hicks, Royal (Lindy) Hicks, Chance Hicks; 3 great grandchildren, Trysten, Allison, Wesley; a brother, Glade Sorenson; and sister, Wanda Aston. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Rex Sorensen and son-in-law, Bjorn (BJ) Pedersen.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11 am in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 E 100 N, American Fork, Utah. Friends may call Thursday evening at the mortuary from 6 to 8 pm and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
