Isaac Phips Russell, the son of Levi Russell and Sarah (Sally) Phips Russell, was born around 1799 - 1800 in North Carolina and married Elizabeth "Eliza" Ann Alsup on September 24, 1828.

They were the parents of nine children:

Amanda Melvina Russell, Born about 1830 in Tennessee, married William Lemon on December 13, 1849 in Polk County, Missouri. Some time after 1850, she remarried Ben F. Alsup.

Ellen Minerva Russell, born about 1833 in Tennessee, married J. H. Glass on May 25, 1868 in Williamson County, Texas.

Thomas Jefferson Russell, born about 1835 in Missouri, married Cleopatra Leonora Donnell on December 12, 1865 in Williamson County, Texas. Thomas Jefferson Russell died sometime before 1900.

Emma Palina Russell, born about 1838 in Missouri, married John Calvin Montgomery on February 16, 1873 in Williamson County, Texas. John Calvin Montgomery was born on February 8, 1828 in Kentucky.

Saline F. Russell was born about 1840 and little else is known about her.

America Orleana Russell, born about 1844 in Missouri, married Henry Daniel Hogan on October 11, 1867 in Williamson County, Texas. He was born about 1846 in St. Joseph County, Minnesota and died on May 18, 1908 in Brown County, Texas. America Russell died on June 22, 1925 in Brady in McCullough County, Texas.

Christopher Columbus Russell, born about 1847 in Polk County, Missouri, married Sarah B. Barr on April 20, 1870 in Bell County, Texas. Sarah B. Russell died on November 3, 1929 in Brown County, Texas. Christopher Russell died on October 1, 1912 in Brown County, Texas.

Anna Missouri Russell, born about 1848 in Missouri, married Kelse H. Williams on June 11, 1867 in Williamson County, Texas. Kelse Williams was born on March 22, 1851 in Texas. Anna Russell died on October 26, 1926, according to her grave marker, but the U. S. Census for 1900 shows Kelse Williams to be a widower.

Frances Cordelia Russell was born about 1849 in Missouri and littl else is known about her.

Isaac Phips Russell died before July 22, 1883 and his burial site is unknown.
