Tingo Frank was the Minister of Arbeka Indian Methodist Church, which in the beginning met in the home of his mother, Marsena Frank, a Baptist. The Arbeka Indian Methodist Church moved about 2 miles to the south to it's present location in 1884.
The Tingo Frank and Saber Jackson families were responsible for erecting the current church building. The Frank's provided the design and the labor and the Jackson's provided the additional land. Tingo Frank and Saber Jackson were first cousins.
Pictured on the right is a photo of the Arbeka Indian Methodist Church as it stands today.
NOTE: The photo on the right of the Arbeka Church was taken by Don Simpson. My thanks to him.
