Funeral services for Frank DeFaut, 94, Crooked Lake, were held Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz. Rev. Richard Marcy officiated with burial in Mountain Cemetery. He died Saturday, Nov. 1 at Rennes Health Center in Peshtigo.
Born June 19, 1909, in Sturgeon Bay, he married the former Marie Hallisey on Sept. 28, 1929 in Manitowoc. The couple resided there where he was employed as a hard hat diver for a Marine Construction company. The couple retired to Crooked Lake. Survivors include a son, James (Greta) DeFaut of Crooked Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Gleaser of North Fond du Lac; four grandchildren; great and great-great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death on May 16, 2002.
