Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, 1979 at
St. Paul Lutheran church Monona, for Selma Elizabeth David. Pastor R.D. Ehlers, conducted the service.
Mrs. Robert Evans was organist. Pallbearers were Dennis
Grove, Carlyle Kirkeberg, Donald Wirkler, Eugee Schlitter,
Donald Fields, and George Wilker. Honoorary pallbearers were Jack Goltz, Selmer Hellen. Marlyn Hederson, and Gilbert Peglow. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Selma Elizabeth David, the daughter of John C. and Anna Schrader Garms, was born August 5, 1900 in Monona Township. She was bapitzed and confirmed in the Lutheran
faith. She attended school in the area. On Feb. 6, 1924,
she was united in marriage to Alfred David by Rev. Daugs, at her parent's home. She was a devoted and loving wife.

She died Saturday May 26, at Community Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.

Preceeding her in death were her parents, one sister, Katherine Waskow, a brother, Rudolph Garms.

Surviving her is her husband, Alfred, two brothers, Walter J. Garms of McGregor, and Robert A. Garms of Volga, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family wishes to express there deepest appreciation to
Dr. Kiesia, the staff of the Community Memorial Hospital,
Pastor Ehlers, Pastor Knoploh, our dear neighbors and friends for all the help and comfort they, have given us during Selma's illness and death. May the Lord Bless each and every one. Alfred David, Walter J. Garms, Mr. and Mrs.
Robert W. Garms, Nieces and Nephews.
