He died Friday November 11, 1983 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Maukon, reaching the age of 86 years, 7 months, 10 days.
Preceding him in death were his wife Selma, who died May 26, 1979; his parents; a brother Herbert; and two sisters Agnes and Hattie.
Surviving are his sister Bertha Folsom of St. Cloud, Minnesota; a sister-in-law Harriett Garms, Postville, nieces and nephews.
