EDINBURGH -- Rissie Norton, 91, of Edinburgh died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Edinburgh Assembly of God Church.
Funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Revs. Phyllis Burton and George Eagler officiating. Calling will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bartholomew County.
Mrs. Norton was born in Adair County, Ky., Nov. 23, 1907, the daughter of Nathan and Ermine Bryant. She married William T. Norton April 6, 1943. He survives.
Surviving are sons, Bobby Norton of Edinburgh and Billy Norton of Bedford; brothers, Russell Bryant of Franklin and Garnett Bryant of Edinburgh; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, James, Everett, Howard and Earl Bryant; and sisters, Carrie Wade and Sophia Bryant.
