Mrs. Millard Dobson passed away at her home near Bristow, Saturday, September 28, 1935 following a short illness, age 22 years, 7 months and 19 days. Funeral services were conducted at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Johnson, in Maysville Sunday afternoon by Rev. P. E. High, with interment in Maysville cemetery.
Minnie Lee Johnson was born and reared in the Maysville community, attended the Maysville public schools. She was converted and joined the First Baptist church when she was 12 years old. She was married in 1928 to Millard Dobson, to which union were born three children, their present ages being 5 years, 3 years and 1 year.
Besides the husband and children Mrs. Dobson is survived by her parents and five sisters and one brother, namely: Mrs. Celia Lundy and Nora Hatfield, in California; Henry Johnson, Foster; Mrs Grover Cheatwood, and Mrs. Vemma Mannering, Maysville, and Mrs Artie Gibson, Oklahoma City.
Minnie Lee died from complications of having a baby.
Mother and baby both died.
