After an illness of 14 years, Mrs. Ruth August Boner, 77, died early Monday morning in the Garfield Nursing Home.
Funeral services have been set for Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the Greenwood Chapel with the Rev. Ray Bozell, of Edinburg in charge of the services. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel after 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and until time for the services, to which they are invited.
Mrs. Boner was born at Greenwood on November 2, 1890, and her parents were the late John and Harriett (Hester) Wilson.
She became the bride of Joseph O. Boner who preceded her in death. She had spent her life in the Greenwood area.
The survivors are 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Others remaining are the brothers and sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Harlan, of Beech Grove, Mrs. Doris Wolf, of Indianapolis, Mrs. Ruby Fraker, of Morgantown, John Boner, of Greenwood, Mrs. Jean Newhouse, Mrs. Rudy Gregg, Mrs. Harriett Williams, all of Whiteland, and Joe Boner, of Greenwood.
Mrs. Boner was a member of the Pleasant Valley Christian Church.
