Son of Charles and Adaline McDonald Adams, he married Lydia Footner, was a crane operator, lived at 545 W 4th St, Erie, died at Doctor's Osteopathic Hospital in Erie of cardiovascular collapse due to renal acidosis, azotemia, cancer of rectum, myocardial failure, anemia and diabetes, per death certificate 98808, whose informant was Mrs. Ethel Miller, 140 1/2 Grant St, Franklin. Buried Oct 11 1966.

Rev. and Mrs. E. M. Fradenburgh of Sandy Lake announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Jane, to Park Adams, son of Mrs. Adaline Adams of Rocky Grove, Saturday evening at the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony was performed by the bride's father, and the attendants were Miss Ruth and Ernest Fradenburgh Jr., sister and brother of the bride. Mr. Adams works at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., and the bride has worked at Polk State School. They will make their home in Franklin.

Miss Lydia Flickner and Park Adams were united in marriage Sunday evening in a single ring ceremony by Alderman Justin R. Butters. The wedding took place at the home of the bride's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Fox, Corry, who also attended the couple. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay J. Flickner of RD 1 Cooperstown, wore a navy blue gabardine suit with black and white accessories. They will make their home in Erie, where both work at General Electric.

Franklin News-Herald, Monday, Oct 10 1966: Park J. Adams, 62, of 545 W. 4th Street, Erie, died Saturday in Doctors Osteopathic Hospital, Erie, where he'd been 10 days. He was born May, 30, 1904 in Polk, son of Charles and Adeline MacDonnell Adams.

He worked for the Erie Forge Co., was a member of Franklin Lodge 83 Loyal Order of Moose, the Sportsmen's Athletic Club, Gem Social Club, Russian CYF Club, the Knights of St. John, and the Steelworkers Union in Erie.

He married Lydia Footner and she survives, with a daughter, Miss Sharon Adams; a son, Ricky, both of Erie; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Miller of Franklin; and a brother, Riley Adams of Lewisburg.

Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Abernathy Funeral Home with Rev. Alice Beals of Calvary -Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Sandy Cemetery, Polk.
