Mrs. King died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, in Masters Health Care Center.
She was born June 15, 1914, in Putnam County to the late George Washington and Rebecca Abston Riddle.
Mrs. King was retired from Roses Dept. Store and also owned and operated Kings Grocery at the corner of 6th and Chestnut streets for 25 years with her late husband. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
Her family includes a daughter and soninlaw, Geraldine and Bill Sessions of Cookeville; a sister, Estell Farris of Cookeville; three grandchildren and their spouses, William Frances and Boo Sessions, Helen and Larry Wheeler, Rebecca and Thomas Morgan; and six greatgrandchildren, Lindsey Wheeler, Elizabeth Morgan, Madison, Alexis, Zachary and Peyton Sessions.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. King, four brothers, George, Hollis, Henry and Jack Riddle; and three sisters, Minnie Cleland, Louanna Walker and Mary Lee Qualls.
