Fred Thomas Kyle, 80, died suddenly Friday at his home in Catatonk.
A resident of Tioga county for 70 years, Mr. Kyle was born in Iowa March 29, 1873, the son of Theron and Mary Orcutt Kyle.
Funeral services were held in the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home in Owego Monday afternoon. The Rev. Clifford A. Elsbree, pastor of the Owego Baptist church, officiated. Burial was in Woodbridge Cemetery, Catatonk.
Mr. Kyle is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Dohs Kyle; a sister, Mrs. Lula Wheeler of Candor, and several nieces and nephews.
