Lulu May Kyle was the daughter of Theron Dewitt Kyle and Mary Salina Orcutt Kyle. She was married to Frederick Gulden on 08 Sep 1897 and they had one child, Neta May Gulden, born Apr 1898. In 1903, when Lulu May's sister Mary Salina Kyle Andrews died suddenly after giving birth, Lulu May and Frederick Gulden adopted Mary's son Raymond Kyle Andrew and raised him as their own. Frederick Gulden died in 1913 and Lulu May married Myron Wheeler on 28 Oct 1916.

LULU M. WHEELER - Mrs. Lulu M. Wheeler, 83, died at her home in Candor, Monday afternoon, Jan 18, after a short illness.
She is survived by one son, Raymond Gulden of Candor; one stepson, Ralph Wheeler of Vestal; four granchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wheeler was a member of Mckendree Methodist church and its WSCS.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Miller Funeral Home, Candor. The Rev. M. Erford Freelove officiated. Burial was in Woodbridge Cemetery in Catatonk.
