Lewis S. Shinn
Lewish Spencer Shinn, son of the late Ad and Willie Gaydon Shinn, died in the Veteran's hospital in Little Rock, Wednesday at the age of 45. He was born in Yell County and had spent most of his life here. He had made his home in Dumas, Arkansas the past three or four years.
Mr. Shinn was a World War II Veteran and member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by one brother, Loyd Shinn of Dumas, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Bates of Dardanelle and Mrs. Adilee Eubanks Anderson of California.
Funeral services were Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the New Hope Baptist Church, by C. V. Langford. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery, by Cornwell Funeral Service.
