As per the birth entry in the Birth Records of Henderson County, Texas for this infant with no first name, the "ditto marks" from the above entries of "M" for male, are written over in the Tullos entry with a "F" for female. Live Birth on Sep 26, 1926 in Brownsboro. Parents are Joe Tullos and Sara Morrison. Residence: Brownsboro. The attending physician, M M Moss of Brownsboro reported the birth Nov 30, 1926 --- yes over a month later (or so the record shows).
As per the death entry in the Death Records of Henderson County, Texas (also reported Nov 30, 1926 over a month later), the baby is a male. Stillborn, Sep 26, 1926 in Brownsboro, Henderson County, Texas. Parents are Joe Tullos and Sara Morrison. Burial Sep 27, 1926 in Asbury Cemetery with Wyatt & Holiman of Brownsboro as the undertaker.
The tombstone for the baby is here in Red Hill Cemetery. It is next to his/her parents. Whether the parents had intended to bury the child in Asbury Cemetery (which isn't too far away -- but is across a creek that could have limited the access at the time) OR if Dr Moss "remembered" wrong when he reported the birth and death (a month later), we may never know. With the parents being buried, oh so many years later, and siblings here all at Red Hill Cemetery, we believe this baby is here among family.
