TED ARTERBERRY FUNERAL TODAY AT WATTS CHAPEL.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 this afternoon for Ted Arterberry, 64, of Tishomingo. Services will be conducted from Watts Memorial Chapel with Ted Maas in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Linn Cemetery.
Mr Arterberry was born at Teller, December 13, 1905. He married Lena Faye Tillerson, December 1, 1926, at Ada. The family lived at Byars, Ada, Alters & Chickasha. They had made their home in Tishomingo for the past 8 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Lena Faye of the home, a daughter, Louise McCathrick of Madill. Other survivors include 4 grandchildren, Larry Eddy of Bells, Texas, Gary, Alice Fay & Betty Ruth Eddy, all of Madill, & a great-granddaughter, Tina Kay Eddy of Bells. Other survivors include 4 brothers, George Arterberry of Chickasha, Benny Arterberry, Johnny H B Arterberry, & Alex Arterberry, of Tuttle, 4 sisters, Mrs Mary Feeshour, Mrs Myrtle Powell, Mrs Viola Mathews, all of Chickasha, & Mrs Caroline Lay of Verden.
Pallbearers for the service were Jessie Easley, Leonard Huff, Pete Walker, James Walker, & Guy Biard.
Note: He was the son of Barnch Howard & Mandy Hillsberry Arterberry. Lena Faye Tillerson is sister to Elva who married Walter Watt Arterberry.
