OBITUARY

Funeral services were in the First United Methodist Church for Burt BABITZKE, 63, longtime Canadian resident who died September 26, 1969 in a Shattuck, Oklahoma hospital.

Rev. Howard Quitt, Methodist minister, officiated and burial was in the Canadian Cemetery under the direction of Stickley Funeral Home.

Mr. BABITZKE was born February 20, 1906 in Ellis County, Oklahoma and was a rancher and contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie, of the home; two sons, Edward, Tucson, Arizona; and Ernest, Houston; five sisters, Mrs. Dollie LONGHOFER, Claude; Mrs. Emma SCHNEIDER, Gage; Mrs. Valentine SCHOENHALS, Lipscomb; Mrs. Anita ANOTHY, Spearman and Mrs. Emma HEAD, Colorado Springs, Colorado; five brothers, Clint, Canadian; Henry, Spearman; Ben, Higgins, Texas; Paul, Claude and T. C., Salisaw, Oklahoma.
