Letha Leah Fisher, 89, Liberty, formerly of Emporia, Kan., passed away on December 5, 2010.

Letha was born on October 30, 1921, in Winston, Mo., to Lawrence and Gladys (Gooding) Heldenbrand.

She was a member of the Emporia United Methodist Church and of the Auxiliary UTU.

Letha was an owner/operator of a liquor store in Emporia, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Florence Boring, Shirley DeLaCruz, and infant Linda Maxine Heldenbrand; and four brothers, Reuben, Loren, Robert, and Kenneth Heldenbrand.

Survivors: son, Eddie and wife, Wanda Fisher, Gladstone, Mo.; three grandchildren: Lisa and husband, Max McCool, Kansas City, Mo.; Shelley and husband, Ryan Brooks, Osage City, Kan.; and Eric and wife, Misty Fisher, Belton, Mo.; nine great-grandchildren, Lauren Pasquith, Jackson Pasquith, Logan McCool, Braden Quinn McCool, Tate Brooks, Acelynn Brooks, Kenny Fisher, Logan Fisher and Mason Fisher; brother, Gerald Heldenbrand, Winston; three sisters: Bertha Steele, Lithonia, Ga.; Virginia Vestal, Odessa, Mo.; and Frances Mazzucca, Denver, Colo.; nieces and nephews.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 9, at the Stroup-Thompson Funeral Home, Winston, Mo. Visitation: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to services. Burial: Winston Cemetery, Winston, Mo.

Memorial fund: Emporia United Methodist Church.
