She married Lewis Miles Burley on 31 May 1883 in Hardin County, Oh. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 58 years of age.

Obituary:
FLORA BURLEY CALLED SUDDENLY
Mrs. Flora J. Burley died Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at her home at 554 Canal street after an illness of one day.

She was born in Stark county, August 31, 1859, and was the mother of five children, two of whom are deceased.

The surviving children are Byron Burley of LaPorte, Ind., Mrs. Melvin Marks of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Charles Gump of this city, and one grandchild. William Neubert of Alger, Ohio, Edward Neubert of Alger, Ohio, Harmon Neubert of Lima, Ohio, Mrs. Anna Dirmeyer of Dola, Ohio, Mrs. Dora James of Canton [sic: Kenton], Ohio, and Mrs Mary Hughes of Alger, Ohio, are the surviving brothers and sisters of the deceased.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning a 10 o'clock at the First M. E. church in charge of Dr. Elmer Ward Cole and the Rev. Leonard A. Swisher. Burial will take place at Clear Creek.
