Ruby Marie Hobgood Young was one of three daughters of James Carl Hobgood and Thelma Minnie Lee Newman Hobgood Rushing (1913-1994). Her sisters:

Ruby was one of the kindest and fun-loving people you'd meet. I miss her smile and warmth. A very kind human being that genuinely cared about people. She made this world a better place.
Ruby married Charles Young. Upon the death of her youngest sister, she and Charles adopted three of Carlene & Mart's children: Jay, Kay (twins), and Jerry. Then, they had another son: Rodney.
She is very sorely missed by all who knew her.
