Ann Ralston was the daughter of John Ralston and Christianna King. She died 28 May 1852, aged 78 yr 4 mo 4 dy (so she was born on ABOUT 24 Jan 1774, using Ancestry's Age Calculator). She married Charles Berry at unknown date and place.

ZL adds "Her maiden name is Ralston. Her spouse is Charles Berry, Jr (62560124). In application for Sons of the American Revolution her birth date is given as 23 Jan 1774 in Virginia." Daughter of Christina King and unknown, mother of James. Note: DAR app does not provide proof of this date, but it is a lead.

John Ralston's Northampton Co., Pennsylvania will, dated 29 Dec 1794, includes daughter "Ann." John served as a delegate in the Convention of 1776, from Northampton Co., PA.

Ann Berry, died 28 May 1852, aged "72" yr 4 mo 4 dy Source of burial: Rockbridge County, Virginia Cemeteries, South River and Walker Creek Districts, by the Rockbridge Area Genealogical Society, 1999, p 156.

Kind photographer adds: Stone is largely illegible (3/13), but cemetery records indicate the inscription reads 75 yr OR 72 yr, 4 mo, 4 dys. "Despite what the cemetery records and the Genealogical Society book say, I'm pretty sure it says 78 years, 4 months and 4 days."
