Mrs. Anna Dorn
Funeral services will be held Thursday for Mrs. Anna Dorn, 84, widow of Henry, of 1725 Harrison St., New Holstein, who died Monday at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where she had been a resident since October, 1972.
The Rev. Ralph Hermsen, pastor, will be celebrant of the 10:30 a.m. requiem Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. Brief family rites will precede the service at 10 a.m. at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
A 7:30 p.m. Christian Mothers Society rosary and an 8 p.m. service of the wake will be held Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Mequon on Feb. 22, 1891, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Koehler Basler. She attended the Chilton schools.
On Oct. 1, 1912 she was married to Mr. Dorn in Chilton.
The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1962.
Mr. Dorn died in February, 1966.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish and its Christian Mothers Society, New Holstein Civic Society, New Holstein Garden Club and on April 1 became a 50-year member of the Catholic Knights.
Survivors include three sons, Richard and Leo of New Holstein and Bernard, Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A daughter, two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
