NATCHEZ - Services for Carolene H. Brewer, 75, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darian Duckworth officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Brewer was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Centreville, the daughter of Purvis R. and Carmen Poole Huff. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Brewer was a long time member of the choir at Grace United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Brewer Sr.; her parents; stepfather, Anthony Przybylski; and sister-in-law, Polly Huff.

Survivors include four children, Eddie Brewer and wife, Rita, both of Moss Point, Tanya McKinley and husband, Paul, both of Natchez, Keith Brewer of Columbus and Todd Brewer and wife, Tina, both of Vidalia; 11 grandchildren, Alesia and Jordan Brewer, Jaime Davis and Shelli Walden, Lori Anne Mardis, Kristi Parker, Kara Pennington, Dan Brewer, Amanda Wilson, Joshua and Tiffany Brewer; seven great-grandchildren, Berkeley, McKinley and Bennett Mardis, Emilee Parker, baby-to-be, Blake Pennington, Reed Brewer and Dusty Wilson; three brothers, Cameron Huff Sr. of Natchez, Purvis Huff and wife, Evelyn, both of Flowood, and Dean Huff and wife, Violet, both of Emporia, Va.; one sister, Barbara Evans of Brandon; one special aunt, Annie Laura Cassells and husband, Bill, both of Natchez; and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and many friends.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Jordan Brewer, Joshua Brewer, Dan Brewer, Bill Mardis, Lane Parker, Nick Pennington, Dustin Wilson and Jaime Davis.

Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
