Served in the U.S. Navy 1945-1947 on the U.S.S. President Hayes, as a Pharmacists Mate in the South Pacific. Robert
also served in the U.S. Army from 1949-1968. He served as a Medical Technician in the U.S. Army until 1960,when he entered the computer field as a computer programmer. After
retiring from the Army he and his wife bought a small 30 acre farm in Washington where he was a Rural Mail Carrier in Rochester, Washington. Robert Clair Rockwell married Nancy Lee Knickehm April 24, 1948 in Seattle, Washington.
