THE DEATH OF ANNA M. RAYBURN
Mrs. Anna M. Rayburn, age 31 years, wife of James Rayburn, died at 11:30 o'clock last night at their home, seven miles south of Lafayette. Her death was caused by peritonitis. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ward of Stockwell. The deceased was a member of the Methodist church at Stockwell, and was a devout Christian, loving wife and mother and was greatly loved by a large circle of friends and her death is deeply deplored. She leaves a husband, four children, father, mother and three brothers. The funeral will be conducted Thursday afternoon from the Stockwell Methodist church by Rev. Frank Mikels of Shadeland and interment will be made in the Stockwell cemetery. (REF: Lafayette Journal, Tuesday, March 22, 1904.)
