NAKINA -- Roy Randle Faulk, 72, died Friday, July 4, 2008 from a sudden illness. He was the son of George Randle Faulk and Amanda Long Faulk. He was a retired farmer and logger.
Final rites were held Monday, July 7, at Open Door Baptist Church with the Revs. Haywood Fowler and Scott Cumbee officiating. Burial followed in the Lou Gore Cemetery. Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City handled the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Faulk of the home; one daughter, Rose Marie Cumbee of Crusoe; three sons, Gerald Randle Faulk of Tabor City, Gregory and Terry Stocks, both of Newport News, Va.; one brother, Guy Faulk of Nakina; one sister, Marie Ellis of Wimington; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
