NAKINA – Letha Faulk Stanley, 86, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 in her home. She is the daughter of the late George Faulk and Amanda Faulk and the wife of the late Leamon B. Stanley.
She was a retired farmer. Final rites will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. in the Seven Creeks Baptist Church by the Rev. Steve Nobles.
Interment will be in the Stanley Cemetery. Inman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
She is survived by four daughters: Betty Stanley Gore and Marion Sibbett, both of Nakina, Donna Tenuta of Wilmington and Rhonda Smith of New Bern; three sons: Thomas R. Stanley of Newport News, Va., Michael Stanley of Tabor City and Jeffery Stanley of Nakina; two brothers: Roy R. Faulk and Guy Faulk, both of Nakina; two sisters: Marie Ellis of Wilmington and Zula Mae Chestnutt of Nakina; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons: Billy, Keith and Frank Stanley. Pallbearers will be Albert Jones, Phil Gore, Chris Stone, Carl Chestnutt, Guy Junior Faulk, Larry Fowler, Allan Faulk and Kenny Nance. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Inman Funeral Home.
