Union, May 21 - W. Patton Cook was stricken with paralysis a short distance from his home near New Lebanon church, Second Creek district, this county, at 8 o'clock, on May 19, 1915. He was carried to his residence and there died three hours later. Thus suddenly ended the life of a good and useful man. Mr. Cook was about 56 years of age. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jos Cook, his mother being a sister of the late C. Patton Nickell.
